As a thoughtful breeder of the Mini American Shepherd, (for over 25 years), also known as the Mini Australian Shepherd, I strive to offer the healthiest puppies that are structurally sound, well balanced, with a wonderful temperament.

After careful consideration and much contemplation, and at the request of many families with allergies, Ruby River Mini Australian Shepherds has decided to expand!  We will be incorporating the amazing hybrid of Aussies and Poodles in an endeavor to accommodate those who suffer from allergic reactions and those who simply just want less shedding!  Everyone should have the right and opportunity to enjoy their furry friends and still have a genetically sound addition to their family. We have thoughtfully chosen parents that will compliment each other in order to offer the best of both breeds.  We have found that the Aussie Doodle has an energy level that is a couple of notches down from that of the Aussie and may be a good fit for the less active person/family.
